NWGIS Activity Update

Mon, 06/10/2019 - 6:48pm -- Eric Wing

There is a lot happening with your NWGIS User Group this summer. Make sure you are aware of the events and changes happening.

Esri UC Meetup

If you are going to the Esri UC, we hope to see you at Tin Roof, 401 G Street on Tuesday, July 9 starting at 5:30pm. Have a drink on us, network with your peers, and enjoy the evening. Special thanks to our current sponsors: SSP Innovations, Cityworks (Azteca), Ascent GIS, GeoTerra, King County GIS, Eagleview (Pictometry), Frontier Precision, WAURISA, and Innovate! Inc. We are still taking sponsorships: contact Jesse Manley at jesse.manley@clark.wa.gov or Ruth Bunch at ruth.bunch@ci.longview.wa.us

Website Go Live

The new NWGIS website will go live on July 10th. Same URL (https://nwgis.org) just a new look and enhanced functionality.  A day or two after the changeover you will receive an email with a username and password instructions to login. Any technical issues can be directed to Eric Wing at ewing@cityofboise.org

2019 Conference

  • Registration - Conference registration opens July 15th. With the website change be sure you have the correct username and password so you can register.
  • Exhibitors – You have the option to register now. The catch is you have to pay by check. Contact Susan Ottersen at SusanOtt@clackamas.us After July 15, exhibitors have the options to pay by credit card via the new website.
  • Presenters – We still have room for presenters. We know there is a lot of great work being done across the Pacific Northwest. Share your successes, your failures, your triumphs and your tribulations. Sign up here.
  • Agenda – The conference activities, workshops, presentations and other happenings are in various stages of development. Keep an eye the website for details as plans firm up over the next month.

We hope your summer is off to great start and look forward to seeing you at the UC Meetup and/or the conference this fall.
