Call to action

We are requiring general session presenters to pre-record their presentations. This decision was made to provide the best experience for attendees. Recorded sessions will be uploaded to a video hosting solution and made available only to conference attendees. Recordings will be released as part of a topic track at a specified time. Our virtual platform has a Q/A function that will allow presenters to monitor and answer chat questions when the video is opened for viewing. We know this new to some presenters. We will be providing a presenter support forum on the NWGIS website for us to help each other be successful. After your submission is reviewed a member of the planning team will contact you with further details.

  • Recordings will start off with a NWGIS title slide template (to be provided)
  • Presentations can be 20 or 50 minutes long. We are saving 10 minutes for live Q/A chats.
  • Presenters have to register for the conference if they want to be able to engage with attendees.
