    GIS & Asset Management Coordinator

    Monthly Salary: $7,502 - $9,585

    The Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District (District) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated GIS & Asset Management Coordinator. Under direction of the Engineering Manager, this position will be responsible for maintaining and improving the District’s existing GIS as well as coordinating the implementation and operation of the District’s asset management program. We are looking for someone who is excited about taking the District’s GIS and Asset Management systems to the next level.

    The District has a service area of 8.3 square miles within the City of Mukilteo, City of Everett, Unincorporated Snohomish County, and Paine Field Airport. The District has over 91 miles of water mains, 81 miles of gravity sewer mains, seven miles of sewer force mains, four water reservoirs, one booster pump station,12 sewer lift stations, and a wastewater treatment facility.

    As part of the District’s 22 full-time member team, the GIS & Asset Management Coordinator will collaborate closely with all staff members to ensure GIS and asset management data and tools are used effectively to meet the on-going and emerging needs of the District. The ideal candidate should have the ability to evaluate and identify asset management and GIS needs and help shape a work plan to move both systems forward.

    Skagit PUD is seeking a GIS Asset Analyst. 

    This position reports to the Asset Management Supervisor, and will be responsible for day-to-day support of the GIS system and the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

    This position will coordinate the GIS portion of our Asset Management program, which will include: Support and configuration of ESRI Enterprise GIS software; creating, configuring and administering web-based GIS maps, applications and REST services; design, build and administer Enterprise databases, develop and support QA/QC on new and existing GIS data; author and maintain Python scripts; perform spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and data conversion tasks; and be primary backup for Cityworks AMS

    The Mukilteo Water & Wastewater District (MWWD) is accepting applications for the position of GIS & Asset Management Coordinator position. Under direction of the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to the planning, design, development, and maintenance of the District’s Geographic Information System (GIS) and Asset Management Programs.

    The position requires any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the qualifications needed to perform in GIS & Asset Management Coordinator position. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be at least three years of progressively responsible experience with GPS, ArcGIS, and ESRI geographic systems, and Asset Management programs and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, geography, computer technology, GIS, information technology, or related field. Experience working in the water and wastewater industry strongly preferred.

    Clark County Washington - Land Records Technician II - GIS Department

    The Clark County Geographic Information Services (GIS) division has a current opening for a Land Records Technician II. The Land Records Technician II position performs nearly the full range of process work associated with land records and parcel maintenance, and serves as a contact for customers (property owners, businesses, government agencies, etc.) regarding these technical issues. Employees in this classification perform a wide variety of advanced and complex technical process work, including interpreting, researching and mapping legal descriptions, providing customers with map products and information on parcel ownership, legal descriptions and parcel maintenance. The work entails both routine and complex tasks and requires application of advanced knowledge of legal descriptions and documents, cadastral principles and terminology, and problem solving. Much of the work is performed on computer, with staff at this level demonstrating proficiency in the use of specific computer software (Esri ArcGIS Pro software, property assessment database, other custom software applications). Customer service is a key focus and is foundational for all technical work and processes. Customer contact occurs by phone, mail, email, and in person.

    Work is performed independently and under general direction, according to standard formats and processes. Significant knowledge of legal descriptions and documents, cadastral principles and terminology, and problem solving is required. Work performed at this level is reviewed for quality, thoroughness, timeliness, accuracy, and conformance to established policies and procedures. When appropriate, attitude and effectiveness in dealing with others are also observed. Work assignments are made and reviewed by upper-level Technicians.

    This position reports directly to the Land Records Technician Lead and GIS Manager. The Land Records Technician Lead makes assignments by defining objectives, priorities and deadlines and assists the incumbent with unusual situations or problems that do not have clear precedents.

    The Land Records Technician II will work alongside other Land Records Technicians to plan and carry out the work independently and everyone is expected to work together to resolve problems in accordance with instructions, policies, and accepted practice.

    This position is represented by Local 11 – OPEIU (Office and Professional Employees International Union, AFL-CIO).
